Winners get $275,000 each.

There’s a shopping comparison app, several location-based apps, plus one to edit photos, another to share music and another that offers a challenging workout. Check out the finalists at Google’s Android Developer Gallery.

This continues to add to the ongoing excitement of the up-and-coming Google phone, which is rumored to launch this fall first from T-Mobile. Yesterday, as mentioned in my post, “Psst: T-Mobile’s 3G half the price of AT&T’s iPhone plan,” Google announced Android would get its own store, just like the Apple Apps store.

The Cineo32 projector is the latest model to feature full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and be able to display 2D and 3D stereoscopic pictures. This will be one of the many projectors to come from Projectiondesign that is able to display 3D images with the use of only one lens. The Cineo32 will also be fitted with a new VIDI lamp provided by Philips. This new lamp technology will dramatically reduce artifacts in the display image. The Cineo32 is also going to be portable allowing this projector to be taken on the road for concerts, conventions, and other large venue functions. Unfortunately Projectiondesign has not yet announced a release date or a price.

The X27 mini-PC is a little larger than genre mainstays like the Mac Mini, but slashes the tag to $189, which is $60 cheaper than the recent Eee Box from Asus. Inside lurks an Atom CPU, GMA 950 video and a gigabit ethernet controller. It has 4 USB ports.

Uses? Heart of a MAME cabinet; carputer; NAS with extras like reliable web and music serving; monolith to awaken nascent gerbil civilization.

Lego famous Bricks are really famous and inspired many Gadget designer to create many unique Gadgets based on Lego bricks design, like this iPod Lego Speaker. Now I also found another cool things, a Japan company produce a nice Japanese USB Flashdisk that use Lego Brick as the casing material.

Another things, if you look more closer, you will realize that this USB Lego Brick is actually is phone strap that can be attached into your mobile Phone! Hmm, a very useful Phone strap, I think It can store 1 GB of Music, Data, Video and anything. The bad thing is the price, bad deal for $40.

Interested? Go to here In search Box, type “Colorful Block Toy”

It features 1600 ANSI Lumens brightness, full high-definition 1080p, with a dynamic contrast ratio of 75,000:1, utilizing advanced DeepBlack technology and E-TORL lamp. Connectivity includes a relatively modest two HDMI slots, plus composite, component, S-Video and D-Sub inputs. Expect a full blown Cinema display, at the comfort of your own home.
Besides dropping in price, digital picture frames have advanced quite a bit over the past few years. The resolutions and image quality have definitely improved, and instead of having to rely on a small set of buttons or a cramped remote for navigating through hundreds of photos, they now feature intuitive touch screen interfaces. On the other hand, touch screens usually means your display ends up covered in fingerprints, which is why Kodak’s latest model, the EasyShare P520, features something they call the ‘Quick Touch Border’ which is basically a touch-sensitive strip that runs around the perimeter of the LCD. The UI can be navigated using just the touch border, and like the iPhone, it even allows you to swipe your finger across the bottom to easily scroll through your photos.

Other features include a USB port and dual SD card slots for expanding your storage space (I’m not sure how much memory the frame actually comes with) a 5-inch LCD color screen that uses ‘Kodak Color Science’ for “vibrant colors and crisp detail” and your choice of silver, red or white frames. It should be available sometime in September for $79.95.

If your phone is on this list, then the answer to that question would be “no.” And your question would probably be, “What the heck does SIMable mean anyway?”

SIMable is a thin chip that can be attached to your SIM card to fool your mobile phone into thinking that it has been unlocked. The price you pay? Apparently around $37, plus a hole that you have to cut out in your SIM card for aligning the SIMable chip. The company even puts to rest your doubts on how to accomplish that by “including a free cutting tool with every purchase.”

In the market since April of this year, the company now boasts success with the cracking of even the latest iPhone 3G. Watch the video demonstration here.

If you’ve fallen in love with the MacBook Air but just can’t stand the thought of muddling through OS X, becoming a snooty Mac user, or suffering through Apple’s skin-deep quality and often-shoddy workmanship, Samsung is aiming its .66-inch-thin X360 laptop directly at you.

This 13.3-inch laptop weighs a mere 2.8 pounds and shines where the MacBook Air skimps: It’s the inputs, stupid. How’s three USB ports (compared to the Air’s 1), a 7-in-1 card reader (compared to the Air’s none), HDMI and Ethernet ports (no such thing on the Air), VGA input, and of course, Wi-Fi and a 1.3-megapixel camera sound?

Best yet, a couple of our buddies have laid their hands on this beauty and tell us it’s solid as a rock. Now if Samsung can just beat that MacBook Air price — which should be easy to do — it’ll make the MacBook Air look like it’s for AirHeads. For all the details, see the Samsung press release after the jump, or just peek at the gallery below to see the luxo finishes, colors and beauty of this fine machine. We want.
