JVC's busting out a veritable plethora of camcorders today, with three in particular catching our eyes. The 60GB GZ-HD300, 120GB GZ-HD320 and the dual SD slot-packin' GZ-HM200 all record in Full HD and feature a 3.05 megapixel CMOS image sensor. If you're into the SD gig, it has five other models within the Everio G series and Everio S series, and the whole family will include a One Touch Export function that enables videos to be imported into iTunes and loaded directly onto an iPod / iPhone. Expect 'em all to be available by March at the latest for between $299.95 and $799.95.

JVC lays out 2009 line of Everio camcorders at CES originally appeared on Engadget on Wed, 07 Jan 2009 12:09:00 EST.
JVC gears itself for an exciting holiday season by unveiling two more Everio camcorders in Japan - the 60GB GZ-MG840 and the 120GB GZ-MG860 that are able to record video memories in a DVD-resolution 720x480 wide format while combining both a hard drive and a microSDHC memory card as its storage solutions of choice. In addition, you will also be able to take advantage of its special YouTube capture mode that allows you to record YouTube-friendly videos to do away with converting the video later on a computer before uploading, helping you save precious time if you're a huge vlogging fan. Both models will feature 42x optical zoom with image stabilization. The GZ-MG840 will retail for approximately $757 after tax while the GZ-MG860 will go for roughly $811. Hopefully they'll cost less when released in the West.

It looks like JVC has added a pair of dual hard drive / microSDHC cameras to its Everio lineup. Currently available in Japan, both the GZ-MG840 (60GB) and GZ-MG860 (120GB) count among their features 720 x 480 wide format image capture, 42x optical zoom, image stabilization and the seemingly ubiquitous YouTube mode. Shooting at DVD quality, the 120GB model can hold over 28 hours of MPEG-2 footage, or just shy of 2 hours on an 8GB microSDHC card. Available in blue, red, or silver, the cameras are not yet slated for Stateside release, but the GZ-MG880 has been seen going for ¥75,000 ($816), while the GZ-MG840 can be yours for about ¥70,000 ($761).

[Via Electronista]

Read - GZ-MG840
Read - GZ-MG880

Who knows when you can buy any hi-def camcorder for the price of a point-and-shoot digital camera? Well now is the time, the SC-HMX10 high-definition camcorder packs a 10x optical zoom with 20x digital zoom and 1.5-megapixel CCD with an Electronic Image Stabilizer for remarkably clear pictures, viewed in the 2.7-inch touchscreen LCD display. It also features 8GB built-in flash memory which can be expanded via the SDHC/MMC card slot. The USB port allows for easy uploading of MPEG4 movie clips and JPEG still images to your PC. Although the SC-HMX10 is not from the big 3 (Sony, Canon, Panasonic) but worth a look.
