I know, I know. Valentines day isn’t a real holiday. Its kind of awkwardly placed just after you have recovered from Christmas shopping. Its basically another "birthday" for women. But if you forget Valentines day, your significant other will never let you live it down. They need to create a "Man Day" where the tradition is to give the man in your life the biggest TV you can afford. But if you are looking for some ideas, or don’t want to think about it and I tell you what you can get, here are a few options.
First, you have to buy flowers. But let me tell you about flowers, they are overpriced and will die in a couple of days. They get the job done though. even women that aren’t that big on flowers will blush till their cheeks hurt if they receive them. Its all about the delivery. Bringing flowers home when its just you and her is nice but thats not what you have to do. You have to send them to her job, send them to her in school. Other people has to see her get those flowers. So what you have to do is casually get her job’s address, don’t give any hints that will let her know what you are planning. She will be expecting flowers at work, believe that, but she wants to be surprised.
So get her address without her knowing you are getting it. Head over to Proflowers.com. Then order this nice "Hugs and Kisses" flower and Chocolate combo. It comes with 2 dozen flowers: 12 red Tulips, and 12 blue Iris, and a box of chocolate for $49.99. But thats not all, you have to get the vase which is an extra $9.99 and go ahead and get the heart shape balloon that says "Happy Valentines Day" for an extra $4.99.
This is just the beginning. My motto has always been a gift at work, a gift at home, then a gift for yourself. The flowers will take care of the first part of the day. When she gets home, You got 2 options, but both comes with a gift. You either take your sweetie out to a nice restaurant to eat diner, or you have a nice quiet evening in. Either way, you got to have a gift waiting for her when she gets home. I suggest something that will not break you, being that you just dropped about $100 on the flowers. A good choice is always jewelry. To be safe, get earrings, bracelets or a watch if its just a girlfriend. If its your wife, anything is game.
This is last minute, I’m going to go away from the jewelry thing. Here is something that is a little different but could be very useful. A music player, but not an iPod or anything from Apple. Think outside the box. Get a nice Pink 4 gb Zune. The Zune has been the joke of the music player market every since of its release but with the 2nd generation Zune player, Microsoft I dare say has surpassed any iPod you can get (except the iPod Touch). So either head to Bestbuy or Walmart and pick one up. If you’re quick enough, you might be able to order one from Amazon and have it to your house in time. Have it wrapped and waiting for your sweetie when she gets home.
Now for the fun part. the gift for you. Now I’m not suggesting you go out and buy yourself something. What I’m saying is that you go out and buy something for your significant other, but something that you can also benefit from. You’ve seen advertisement for this site in all of your magazines, on websites and everywhere else. Now its time to utilize it. Head over to Pajamagram.com and pick out a nice pair of "something to sleep in". I don’t have any specific suggestions, you’ll have to get what you think your girl will like but make sure you get something you want to see your sweetie wearing.
Whew!!! Now your finished. Your lady will love you to death and you can now look forward to the summer.
