For this year, the Christmas tree over at the Rockefeller Center in New York City is a Norway Spruce. It stands some 84 feet tall and it sure has become the center of attraction of those who are in the area. The tree is surely green and I mean it literally and figuratively. See, it is colored green and it uses LEDs to give the tree the sparkle and light.
We usually use the standard bulbs for our Christmas trees but we also do know that they consume much energy. With the 30,000 LEDs used on the Rockefeller Christmas tree, it is a sure way of saying that being in the season does not mean having to spend much on electricity. It is also a very good way to telling people that we all can make our Christmas brighter and more colorful than before with gadgets and gizmos that are friendly to the environment.
