Red Five Labs has launched a newer version of Net60 Microsoft .NET Compact Framework for Nokia S60 3rd Edition mobile devices. The major improvement in this version is support for .NET Compact Framework 2.0 applications and software. This is a big improvement since most Windows Mobile applications are developed on CF 2.0 or later.

Key features of Net60 Version 2.0 include:

+ The main ‘feature’ added is Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0 support.
+ Managed access to the camera
+ A new paddle game which demonstrates use of the accelerometer API
+ Self Sign capabilities in the Genesis Visual Studio plug-in. (Users no longer need supply a UID or Symbian Certificate)

The next release of Net60 will also include support for Nokia S60 5th Edition Touch Screen User interface.
