With the passage of time, Luggage has not only improved on its functionality, but is becoming a symbol of the traveler’s sense of style. We have already come across the Transforming Suitcases and Chair Suitcase, and the Bond-styled HENK’s suitcase that let you travel with your luggage in the smartest manner possible. Well, the one I am talking about is not new, but is surely worth a mention. Designed by Joey Roth, the trendy Carry-On Luggage definitely raises the bar in luggage design. He designed this carry-on luggage to put across the ‘lost romance of air travel.’ The design is inspired from the golden age of ocean liners, with the black lacquered finish beautifully scraped, revealing the bamboo plywood beneath. The wood bar unfolds using simple 45-degree angles between bars and rotating joints to allow the user to roll the suitcase. When closed, the wood bar serves as a carrying handle. The interior of the luggage features four drawers with bamboo bases and soft felt walls. The bottom drawer is meant to keep your laptop safe and sound. Joey Roth’s Carry-On Luggage is absolutely gorgeous and surely not meant for the average traveler.
