As much as we all love for our furry friends to smell fresh and clean, getting to that point isn’t always easy. Dogs aren’t always game to jump into the bathtub for a good scrub. And with an array of bath accessories available off shelves, it’s also puzzling to settle for the best shampoo for your fido. But what if I had to tell you that you can give your pet the cleanest scrub without actually using any shampoo or soap! Yeah, coming from Japan, IDEC is all geared up to launch a system that washes dogs with streams of bubble-filled water instead of shampoo. Working on company’s microbubble generation technology “GALF, it is intended to produce tiny 20-micrometer bubbles that can penetrate the fur down to the hair follicles and skin to remove dirt and help preserve the fur’s glossiness. Dubbed as Wan Love Yu , this high-tech dog bath system features a special shower head that discharges water containing approximately 600,000 tiny air bubbles per cubic centimeter.

The best part is that any of us can grab this device for 600,000 and 700,000 yen (around $6,000 to $7,000) and use with your standard bath tubs. Whether you wash your mutt in your personal bathtub or his own is irrelevant. For that kinda tag, you definitely would expect more pomp and glamour but then technology also comes for a price. Though the company asserts that it is originally intended to be used at vet hospitals and pet day care centers, I’m sure many darlings of the well-heeled will indulge in a dip in this Wan Love Yu.
